The responsible person for questions and advice on student exchange in Health Sciences and Technology is the Mobility Advisor of the study programme who offers support to ETH students and exchange students from other universities.

ETH students (Outgoings)

Interested students should contact the Mobility Advisor and discuss:

  • General questions and advice on an exchange semester at another university
  • Study planning at the guest university
  • Recognition of gained credit points from the guest university

A minimum of 20 credit points should be taken, two thirds of them in the Master programme. In the HST programme it is recommended to that the earliest window to visit another university is from the fifth semester. In the Bachelor programme a maximum of 36 credit points can be transferred, in the Master programme a maximum of 30 credit points.

Project and Master Theses which are carried out outside the ETH usually do not come under "mobility". You can apply for theses abroad usually at short notice.

The application and registration for an exchange semester is through the Student Exchange Office.

Students of other universities (Incomings)

Students from external universities, who would like an exchange at the ETH Zurich in the study programme Health Sciences and Technology HST are also supported by the Mobility Advsior. General questions on an exchange semester in HST at ETH Zurich.
